A very rare photographic negative showing Marilyn Monroe, wearing a purple dress, in South Korea in February 1954, where she was entertaining the US troops.
During her honeymoon in Japan with Joe DiMaggio, Marilyn flew to South Korea to perform a show titled 'Anything Goes' to 100,000 troops over a four day period.
Original negatives of Marilyn Monroe are rare.
In 2001 Christies sold a set of four negatives showing Marilyn on the set of the movie Niagara for $6,463.
While in 2020 RR Auction sold a collection of 200 negatives for $61,866.
