A superb Princess Diana typed statement, signed by Diana, is to be auctioned by Chiswick auctions with an estimate of £1,800 - £2,200.
Diana's statement was written to to celebrate the English National ballet on its 40th Anniversary in March 1990.
The statement, which was last sold at RR Auction in the USA, in June 2014, reads in full:
"In 1950 a great theatrical endeavour was begun under the expert leadership of Anton Dolin and Alicia Markova.
First as London Festival Ballet and now as English National Ballet, it has become an international force in the world of classical ballet and this evening pays tribute to this achievement.
The Company has grown in stature over the last forty years and has achieved a very high standard which is appreciated by audiences not only in the United Kingdom, but worldwide.
Tonight gives us an opportunity to salute the Company's achievements and triumphs and to wish all the dancers and staff of English National Ballet a very successful and prosperous future",
Diana has signed at the bottom.
The statement is printed on Kensington Palace stationery, dated March 1990 and mounted to an overall size on 36cm x 31cm.

The October 2022 update of the Celebrity Memorabilia Index has highlighted Princess Diana as one to follow with global internet searches for 'Princess Diana' up 82% in the last three months, and +50% year-on-year, with her memorabilia rising in value by 5.56% this year.
The auction takes place in London on 12th October; it will be interesting to see the results as this the first auction of Royal Memorabilia since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
