A Ferrari F50 once belonging to Mike Tyson, with just 6,193 miles on the clock, is to be auctioned by Gooding & Company at Pebble Beach with a $4,500,000 - $5,500,000 estimate.
The F50 was Ferrari's first car made using true F1 technology, ridding itself of power steering and anti-lock brakes in favour of minimum technology wih a six speed manual gearbox and a V-12 engine, built around a carbon fibre body, with an open air top.
The F50 was a true rarity with only 349 examples built, of which only 55 were destined for the US market.
This car is chassis 73 of 349. It was originally delivered to Beverly Hills Sports Cars, where it was purchased by broker Navid Amirvand, and then sold to boxer Mike Tyson.
The car has passed through a number of notable collections since and has been the subject of recent major services with a $75,000 spend.
